We print your artwork in-house on Arlon DPF 45WF, a professional 60/40 perforated, black-back window film designed for vibrant one-way-vision graphics on storefront windows, glass doors, commercial vehicle rear windows, display glass, and other approved transparent surfaces.

Choose Your Finish

• Unlaminated — $12 per linear foot: Printed directly on satin Arlon DPF 45WF. Best for protected, short-term, indoor-facing, or dry-weather window installations where no added surface protection is required.
• Series 3200 Optically Clear Gloss Laminate — $24 per linear foot: Protected with Arlon's recommended 2-mil optically clear cast overlaminate. This adds a clear gloss protective layer while preserving visibility through the perforations. Arlon specifically calls for Series 3200 when the printed graphic will be exposed to rain.

Eco-solvent prints are allowed to outgas as needed before cold lamination. Standard opaque vinyl laminates are not used on this product because they would block the perforations and defeat the one-way-vision effect.

What 60/40 One-Way Vision Means

DPF 45WF has approximately 60% printable area and 40% open area. The white exterior face carries the full-color print while the black reverse side helps the eye see through the film from the interior side. The one-way effect works best when the printed side is brighter than the viewing side; bright interior lighting at night can reduce the privacy effect.

Printed service life depends on the ink system, ink coverage, lamination, exposure, surface preparation, installation, cleaning, and environmental conditions. This is a short-term specialty window film, not an opaque wrap vinyl or permanent privacy film.

Two Ways to Submit Artwork

1. Use the Gang Sheet Builder — print only: Arrange and duplicate artwork inside the 52-inch-wide sheet area. Use the builder when you want to maximize the purchased area and do not require contour cut paths.
2. Upload a production-ready file: Upload a complete AI, EPS, or PDF. If contour cutting is required, include a true vector stroke positioned exactly where the plotter should cut. Do not use the builder for orders requiring cut paths.

Cutting Service

8-foot maximum for kiss cutting: To retain plotter tracking and registration accuracy, contour kiss cutting is available only on individual sheets up to 52 × 96 inches. Longer sheets are print-only unless the order is separated into individual cut-ready sheets no longer than 8 feet.

• Proper vector contour paths are required.
• Raster, flattened, or image-only cut lines cannot be plotted.
• We do not perf cut through the backing liner.
• We do not weed excess material.
• We do not apply transfer tape or masking.
• Individual graphics are not separated from the sheet.

Installation Notes

• Install only on clean, smooth, compatible glass.
• The printed white side faces outward; the black perforated side is viewed from inside.
• For laminated graphics, Arlon calls for firm hard-squeegee pressure so the optically clear overlaminate does not bridge through the perforations and adhere to the glass.
• Use a qualified installer for vehicle or large multi-panel storefront applications.
• Confirm panel measurements, seams, window hardware, edge clearances, and local regulations before ordering.

Artwork Checklist

• Build artwork at final production size and keep every element inside the purchased area.
• Use high-resolution artwork and outline fonts.
• Remember that only 60% of the film surface receives ink; small text and thin details should be designed accordingly.
• For contour cutting, supply AI, EPS, or PDF with a true vector stroke at the exact finished cut path.
• Do not flatten or rasterize the cut path.
• Review size, spelling, color, orientation, panel breaks, and cut-path placement before submitting.

Production scope: We provide eco-solvent printing, the selected Series 3200 optically clear lamination finish, and kiss cutting on eligible sheets when a valid vector cut path is supplied. Design correction, panel measurements, installation planning, weeding, masking, perf cutting, individual trimming, and installation are not included. Finished orders are rolled into a tube. Local pickup only; shipping is not available for this product.
